José Régio

José Régio was a Portuguese poet, novelist, dramatist, and literary critic, generally considered one of the most accomplished literary figures in Portugal in the first half of the 20th century.

José Régio foi um escritor, poeta, dramaturgo, romancista, contista, ensaísta, cronista, crítico, memorialista e historiador da literatura português, para além de editor e director da influente revista literária Presença, desenhador, pintor, e grande conhecedor e coleccionador de arte sacra e popular.
