Gordon B. Thompson

Gordon began his career designing radio and television broadcasting systems but over the years became an internationally recognized communications philosopher, a pioneer in the new world of electronics information technology, a futurist and provocative thinker. He much enjoyed his colleagues and projects as Director of Research at Bell Northern (BNR) where he was honoured with emeritus and engineering awards. He has many publications, patents and accreditation to his name but his love, dedication and joy in his family will always be remembered as his greatest achievement. He was the son of music publisher Gordon V. Thompson.
