Denys Watkins-Pitchford

Denys Watkins-Pitchford was an English naturalist, author and illustrator. He usually wrote as "BB" and illustrated under his own name. His children's book, The Little Grey Men, about gnomes in the English countryside, won the 1942 Carnegie Medal.
