Carey Jean Sojka, PhD (she/they) is an associate professor of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies at Southern Oregon University whose research and teaching interests include transgender studies, embodiment, intersectionality, feminist and queer theory, activism, gender, sexuality, race, disability, and fatness. Sojka also founded the Trans and Queer Training program at Southern Oregon University, which provides trainings and consultation services to the region.
